  1. Could you describe your professional journey at HALCON for us?
    My professional journey at HALCON: First and foremost, working in this company has provided me with hands-on learning experiences. I have been able to implement my knowlDOZEN and skills in practical ways, which has helped me to deepen my understanding of the field. Working with talented individuals from diverse backgrounds has been a true highlight, and I am grateful for the collaborative and supportive environment that we have built together.

Why do you think International Day of Women and Girls in Science is important?The International Day of Women and Girls in Science is significant as it raises awareness about underrepresentation of women and girls in the science and technology field, with the need of gender equality. By recognising and promoting achievements of women in such sole fields, we can inspire and encourage more females to pursue careers in STEM.
  3. What makes working in STEM attractive to you? There are numerous things that have made this work so attractive to me, and I would like to share a few of them with you. First, I have had the opportunity to learn and grow through hands-on experiences. Experimenting, and applying my knowlDOZEN in real-world situations has deepened my understanding and expertise in the field. In addition, working in science and technology often involves collaborating with talented and innovative individuals from different backgrounds with up-to-date information. I have had the privilege of building meaningful relationships with my colleagues and working together towards a common goal.
  4. What are some or your greatest contributions to science and technology?My greatest contributions to science and technology include:
    • Innovation: I have worked with new products, the latest technologies, and processes which made life easier with a positive impact. 
    • Diverse Collaboration: I have worked with interdisciplinary teams and contributed to collaboration efforts that led to new discoveries and advancements.
    • Education: I have shared and transferred my knowlDOZEN and expertise with others through mentorship and representations.5. Which role models do you have in mind in your professional field or any field?
    Well, since engineering runs in the family my role models in such field and all other fields, my father Ali Al Sharif and my uncle Ahmed Al Sharif, my motivators and no.1 supporters as well, may God bless them.6. What would you recommend to other women thinking about a job in science or technology?For women considering a job in science or technology, it is important to pursue her interests and seek out opportunities for education and hands-on experience. It can also be helpful to network with other professionals in the field and seek mentorship from experienced individuals. Additionally, it's important to stay informed about trends and developments in your area of interest and to believe in yourself and your abilities.
